Welcome to the Old Halesonians Website

Old Halesonians RFC is an amateur club currently playing in Midlands 4 West (North). We run a comprehensive Mini / Junior section (Under 7's to Under 17's), a successful Colts squad and four senior sides including a Veterans team.

We have excellent facilities boasting six rugby pitches, a floodlit training area, en-suite changing rooms, a gymnasium, a 118 seat stand on the first XV pitch and a bar/members lounge selling the best beer in the Midlands.........or so we're told!

A fitting end to a great season

The league season came to a glorious end with a satisfying 47 - 3 victory over Newcastle, and what a season it has been. To remain unbeaten is no easy feat but to keep the points scored against to below 100 over 22 games is outstanding. For you stato's out there that's an average of 4.5 points conceded each game! Credit must go to the coaches and all involved for what has been achieved in the past two seasons, but ultimately it is the players on the pitch that performed week in week out that should be commended.

Next season will see us playing in Midlands 3 West where a new fresh challenge awaits. Old rivalries will be rekindled and new teams will be played. Have a great Summer break and prepare for the 2008/2009 season, if it's anything like this season it'll be a great one.

Club Forum

Keep up-to-date and (try to) laugh at the hilarious wit on display. Content is monitored, but there are specific areas for Senior players as well as the Mini-Junior section so use it as it's intended.
